Legal
Terms
These terms cover two things: using this website, and how the Casie service is contracted. Casie is built and run by its founding team in Birmingham, trading as Casie. We will add the company’s registered details here once it is incorporated.
Using this website
You may read and link to this website. You may not copy the product descriptions, images or text for commercial use without asking us. The product examples on the site show fictional demonstration records; they are not real people or real customer results unless the page says so.
We work to keep the site accurate, but it describes a product that changes. Nothing on it is an offer; what you get is set out in your agreement with us.
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The Casie service
The Casie service at app.casie.co.uk is provided to supported housing providers under a written customer agreement. That agreement covers:
- what the service does and the support we provide, including setup, data import and training;
- fees and how they are paid;
- data protection, with the provider as controller and Casie as processor, and the sub-processors listed in our privacy notice;
- security, availability and what happens if something goes wrong;
- the provider's right to export every tenant's file at any time, and what happens to data when the agreement ends.
Where these website terms and a customer agreement differ, the customer agreement applies.
Who may use the service
Accounts are issued to a provider's staff by that provider. Staff must keep their sign-in details to themselves and use the service only for the provider's work. The provider is responsible for the records its staff create and for having a lawful basis to hold them.
AI-generated content
Casie drafts support notes and checks them against what the worker said. A member of staff reviews every note before it is saved, and the person who did the visit remains responsible for the record. The service is a tool for writing and organising records; it does not make decisions about the people being supported.
Changes
We may update these website terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes to a customer agreement are made in writing with the customer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
